The Wedding is coming!

It means the world to us that you are planning to come celebrate with us as we take the next step in what continues to be an excellent adventure. While we hope that you will choose to spend the entire weekend relaxing in beautiful Spring Lake, NJ, the main events are the ceremony and the reception immediately following.

The Church

The day's festivities kick off with a service at stunning St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church. The bridal party will begin their procession into the church starting at 3:45PM on Saturday October 18, 2014.

There is ample on street parking surrounding the church. Just make sure you don't park on any yellow paint and you'll be in the clear.

The following address should work in your GPS. If you get lost, just drive clockwise around the lake until you arrive; you won't be able to miss it.

The Party

Immediately following their marriage ceremony, come party with the newly minted bride and groom at the Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club! Come for the dinner, stay for the dancing!

There will be a free valet parking service provided. Alternatively, there is ample on street parking surrounding the club.

The following address should work in your GPS. If you get lost, just drive east from the church until you hit the ocean. Then go about five or six blocks north and you're there.

More you say?

For those of you for whom the above isn't enough, rest assured. We've got you covered.

The Afterparty

Following their first public appearance as husband and wife earlier that evening at the B&T, the Bride and Groom are taking their party on the road. Next stop is St. Stephen's Green Publick House for more friends, drinks, Irish music, and continued festivities. You thought you could take a trip to Spring Lake and not end up in an Irish joint?

There is off-street parking adjacent the bar. Alternatively, I am working to assemble a list of local taxi companies that you can call to get here and back if need be. Check back in the next few days if this information hasn't yet made it onto the site.

The Brunch

We are so touched that you are making the trip and spending the weekend celebrating with us. To that end, allow us to feed you before you make the trip back to where you came from! Come join us at the Fitzsimons family home at noon for a bite to eat. Make friends with our friends, because we're all family now.

Can you believe that they'll have already been married for 20 hours by this point? They grow up so fast...

Please enter from Sussex street. Keep an eye out for a big red phone booth, straight from the streets of London, England. Seriously.

Lodging

Spring Lake and the neighboring towns have no shortage of quality accommodation options.
These are our recommendations. Drop us a line if you need any help.

The Ocean House B&B

This is our number one choice for most guests. This is the traditional Spring Lake experience.

Central to everything: a block from the ocean, a block from the lake, a short walk to the church, 4 blocks from the reception. Take your tea on the porch before taking a stroll into town. We have a room block here, so mention the Fitzsimons/Joyce wedding. They'll give you a small discount if you stay two nights.

Please note: they do not allow children under 12 years old.

There are a variety of room sizes, so you'll need to call to see what's available. Rates range from $125 to $175 a night for a double occupancy.

The Sea Girt Lodge

Proof that you just can't go wrong down here. This is another fantastic choice that we are recommending to one and all.

Though a little farther from the center of the action, the Sea Girt Lodge offers a nice room at a reasonable price. Again, we have a room block, so mention the Fitzsimons/Joyce wedding. Rates here are $99 a night for a double occupancy, choice of 1 king or two doubles. You can have up to four people in a room for an extra $25 per person per night ($150 total). Call to confirm, but word on the street is that children under 12 stay free.

Please note: you will need a car (or taxi) to get to the ceremony, but don't let that disuade you. The rooms are nice and have everything you are going to need for your stay. This is probably the best deal in town.

Registry

We are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond. Watch out for that "beyond" section...
